DISCLAIMERS

ARTICLE 1 – Newspaper masthead

This blog does not represent a newspaper as it is updated without any predetermined periodicity. Therefore, it cannot be considered an editorial product within the meaning of Law No. 62 of 7.03.2001.

ARTICLE 2 – Cookies

LIPU is aware of the importance of protecting the information that users may provide through browsing the Site. As the controller of personal data, LIPU has adopted this policy on the use of Cookies (text files that are recorded on the user’s terminal or that allow access to information on the user’s terminal, storing information about visitors’ preferences) on the Site.
The Site makes use of “technical cookies” for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such service” (see Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code). These cookies are necessary for the proper secure operation of the Site because they allow us to distinguish between the various connected users in order to provide a service requested from the correct user (via Login). Some of these cookies are deleted when the browser is closed (session cookies), others have a longer duration (such as the one necessary for the preservation of the user’s consent in relation to the use of the cookie, which lasts 1 year). Consent is not required for these cookies; without them, we could not provide the services for which you access the Site.
The Site makes use of “analytics cookies” used to collect information, in aggregate form, exclusively on the number of users and how they visit the Site itself (duration of sessions). These are assimilated to technical cookies with anonymized service, so they do not collect names or interactions between pages, links, media, ecommerce, purchase orders, contact forms, nor do these require consent from the user. We can only identify users by their email address, if it was used to contact us directly and/or through use of the Site.
The Site does not make use of “profiling cookies” aimed at creating profiles related to the user, usually used for the purpose of sending advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same in the context of web browsing. Any link or widget on the Site that refers to social networking services is exclusively a link to pages outside the Site itself, and does not install third-party cookies. Keep in mind, however, that LIPU is not responsible for the privacy policies of third-party websites, so we recommend that you read the privacy statements of individual websites that involve the collection of personal data.
“Statistical cookies” do not require consent as they do not allow identification of the specific user (they use shortened IPs limited to the first numbers), remain confined to this Site and are not combined with other data or shared with third parties.
However, it is possible to take action on the transmission of cookies and prevent them from being set, including revoking a consent already given, by changing the browser configuration to block certain types. For detailed information on the necessary procedure you can consult the help of your default browser.
In compliance with the above cookie configuration, this Site does not display a banner requesting the consent of users who visit the same.

The quotation, summary or reproduction of parts of works, therefore, do not contravene Law No. 633 Art. 70 of 22.4.1941. Some content may come from sources that do not disclose the author (e.g., press releases). If you recognize editorial parts of which you are the owner, please do not hesitate to contact us (it will be Your preference to make the author public or to decide on their immediate removal).
