Do you know the story of this airport?

It was built during the First World War and used for military activities in the following years. The airport was home to the 1st Fighter Wing until the year 1987, when it opened to civil aviation.

In 2005 the Army's group Dragoni left the hangars and the area began to accomodate even more civil air traffic, especially aviotourism from northern Europe.

In addition to events, meetings, projects developed together with the university and aerospace companies, today the airport stands out for being an hems base and for the use of drones in collaboration with the local police force.
