Drive Up, Italia Uno

Engines, solidarity, and the local area!

On Saturday, November 22, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:50 a.m., Padua Gino Allegri Airport hosted Ringo DJ for a special episode of Drive Up, which will air on December 6 on Italia Uno, produced in collaboration with Buy And Help Società Benefit and Dynamis Noleggio. The broadcast represented an important opportunity for national visibility for Padua and the entire Veneto region, confirming the airport as a new strategic and cultural hub for the area.

In a challenge between a Ferrari and a 3-ton pickup truck, the audience witnessed one of the most spectacular moments of the episode: an exciting race from 0 to 100 km/h between two cars that were ‘on equal footing’ but profoundly different. On one side was the iconic Ferrari Portofino, on the other a 6-meter, 3,000 kg pickup truck based on the Ram TRX and prepared by the newly formed OMS Sport. A race that combines adrenaline, technique, and entertainment.

Heron Air: a new direction for Padua Airport and the Veneto region, the initiative also represents an opportunity to highlight the work carried out by Heron Air, the management company that, since taking over Padua Airport, has embarked on a path of growth and innovation capable of generating value for the city and the entire Veneto region.

The Veneto region on national stage with Drive Up

A special episode with Ringo DJ, a breathtaking challenge between supercars and 3-ton pickups, and a solidarity project that transforms luxury into value for the region: Padua Airport confirms its role as an innovative and cultural hub in Veneto. The region takes center stage on Italia Uno, and the arrival of Drive Up fits perfectly into this growth path, representing a new piece in the strategy to enhance Padua Gino Allegri Airport. This confirms the role of infrastructure as a driver of innovation, culture, and development for Padua and the entire Veneto region.

Urban Terminal: a cultural bridge between the airport and the surrounding area

The Terminal has transformed the airport into a place for meeting and participation, hosting automotive events with Audi and BMW in recent months, cultural activities in collaboration with IUAV in Venice and the University of Padua, as well as initiatives open to the public. The year will end with a particularly prestigious event: an exhibition by Paduan sculptor Sergio Rodella, which can be visited from January 12 to February 8 within the airport premises.
