On Saturday, March 22, the air terminal at Padua's Gino Allegri Airport changed into an unprecedented and vibrant setting, hosting FIGHT ARENA: SECOND STRIKE, an evening event organized by Graünd Studio and Metabolismo Lagunare

The event went sold out in less than a week. It was held in the air terminal area, the active heart of the airport where flight school, aviation, conference hall, art exhibitions and institutional activities coexist, thus confirming the growing interest in new forms of cultural enjoyment in public spaces.

The success of the event demonstrates how music, culture and active citizenship can dialogue with aviation venues without conflicting with their functions, but rather enriching them with new meanings.

The airport space was enhanced in every detail. An example of how it is possible to design high-level cultural events even in unconventional settings, thanks to professionalism and shared vision between institutions and creative people.

Terminal Urbano is an ever-expanding project created to return the air terminal to the city as a place for meeting, reflection, creativity and participation. The goal is to bring culture and aviation together in a synergistic and generative way, with events open to the public, exhibitions, workshops, books presentations, lectures and collaborations with local realities.
