Sergio Rodella, an internationally renowned sculptor originally from Noventa Padovana, died in December 2022 at the age of 73. He was known for sacred art and the three-dimensional reproduction of the body wrapped in the Holy Shroud, appreciated for his mastery in working with marble and bronze. He was also a lecturer at the Selvatico Institute in Padua and left an important artistic legacy visible in numerous churches and public spaces in Italy and abroad.
